I've traveled the world and frequently stay at hotels and the service at the Summit Hotel was bar none - the BEST!! The staff is incredibly friendly - from Payden at the Ski Valet and the housekeeping staff, Jessie, leaving positive notes which set the tone for my day; the servers were amazing, the bellman - so helpful and friendly AND last but not least - the front desk crew - Andre and others were incredibly helpful! The food was excellent and a great many healthy options which I appreciated. I loved the little touches like the herbal supplement one could add to the iced water with fresh cucumber in the spa. The Jacuzzi had both an indoor and outdoor option with soothing jets. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The skiing is excellent!

We got lucky with tons of fresh powder, and new powder almost every day. Chairlifts were fast and the attendants were friendly if not downright hilarious. Runs were long, well groomed and the views were breathtaking. A couple yurts conveniently placed around the mountain for a burger and a beer were great, and all the service was friendly and exceptional. The shuttles were great and we never waited long for one. Bucket list experience.

I will not review the resort snow because only Mother Nature can change that, but this resort is the biggest resort I have ever been to. This resort has 31 lifts!! It took 3 days to go to every lift. The lifts are the most advanced I have ever been, with bubbles and heated chairs. Some are pretty old, but they are very short and usually isolated. What I like about this resort is that you have enough speed to reach any point, and the resort is great the attractions near it are great, and the view is awesome 5/5

I have no idea why Big Sky is not more popular. It's not uncommon to have an entire run all to yourself. It happened to me twice - on a weekend, whilst it was snowing fresh powder! The variety of runs is outstanding. The high speed, heated, covered chairs are wonderful. And the staff are great. It's not cheap, but that goes with the sport, unfortunately. I agree that they should put up some more signs though.

Our stay was in November 2024. The condo we stayed in was very outdated, and it would have been nice to have 2 king beds. 2 grown adults in a queen size for a week is tough, but the rooms were very spacious. For 4 adults, there was plenty of room. The bathrooms were pretty small, barely any counter space, but the water was hot, and the water pressure was great. There also was not much parking at all. (***Make sure you rent an All Wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle for your trip***). The location was incredible. It was full of the most amazing views and fairly close to many things to do, even in the off-season. Make sure you take the drive up Lone Mountain and take in the incredible scenery, and plan your next trip to stay in one of the beautiful cabins. Also, take a few hours and make the hike to Ousel Falls. It was stunning. There is no state tax in MT, but if you shop in the village in Big Sky, there is a resort tax. We saw foxes every night outside of our back porch (please don't feed them). They were beautiful! Overall, we had an amazing stay. Yes, we did have a few complaints, but we would stay there again.
