Reviews

The Denver Botanic Garden is truly an amazing and relaxing destination, perfect for anyone visiting Denver. Located just outside the bustling city center, it offers a serene escape and serves as an urban oasis. The gardens feature hundreds of stunning plant species, creating a superb environment that invites you to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature. I visited after a long week of snow, and while many of the plants were blanketed in white, the views were still unmatched—there’s something magical about seeing the gardens transformed by winter’s touch. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the gift shop stands out with its selection of unique and thoughtful souvenirs. Whether you’re a plant enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful retreat, the Denver Botanic Garden is an unforgettable experience.

The family and I decided to come for the Blossoms of light. We bought out tickets a few weeks ahead of time because I found that they sell out fairly quickly. Parking can fill up pretty quickly but if you arrive early it shouldn't be too much of an issue. I liked that the garden didn't feel over crowded and I never felt rushed or overwhelmed like some other places with a similar setup. My daughter loved the lights and the music as we walked through the garden. We got plenty of family photos and enjoyed our stroll through the light display. The blossoms of light will probably become a yearly tradition for us as we enjoyed it very much.

We used to be members, but since we moved away, we still enjoy going back to visit, especially during their Blossoms of Light. It's just magical, with many great photo opportunities. It's the most well done light display we have ever seen. The hot chocolate isn't too bad either!

It was an amazing experience! They have so many alternative cafes to get some food and coffee. They have a children library, and science museum. Outdoor is fascinating but having so many indoor options make it very family friendly.
