The staff was super friendly. If you like this type of thing you'll love the museum. My daughter is interested in becoming a firefighter, so it was a special trip for us. It's definitely worth stopping by.

Located in the old 1st Engine Station housing many artifacts with detailed information about equipment, technology, and history . A short walk from the convention center and hotels. Cannot miss the living quarters of firefighters on the second floor! Informative and educational. It can be seen in less than two hours. Highly recommended

Fun, informative and interactive! There is a lot to see and learn at the Firefighters Museum. My son was in a big firefighter/alarms phase and this place was perfect to visit for him. The exhibits are split and marked into some that are just for looking and some that you can touch and play around in! There is a video room where they play a fire safety video which my toddler enjoyed. He enjoyed pretending in the fire truck and there were several different costumes to try on. We got to practice getting out of the house safely and crawling low to the ground. If you have firefighter fans check it out!

Our fire truck lovers could t get enough of it! They have a coloring and play area upstairs and a fire truck you can “drive” down stairs. They also have old engines you can look at along with fire safety video and what not around. It was a very cool, well kept place!

Went to see the museum with my boys as teenagers. We love the museum and got to see the truck my boys rode on for their grandfather's funeral. It was so meaningful and wonderful to go back. We miss grandpa dearly and stay connected to his memory, in part, through this museum. The displays are really fantastic, intricate and fascinating. Love to the members who run this place!
