We saw "In the Pocket: The Ballad of Bobby Trombone" on Friday night at The Savoy Theater in Denver. The Savoy Theater is a really cool venue. We look forward to attending more events there. The play was really great. Loved the set and the characters. Interesting to learn about this hotel in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. We enjoyed the performers and there were several funny moments throughout the play. The only thing that could have made it better, was more music.

Caught “In the Pocket; The Ballad of Bobby Trombone” at the Savoy Denver. What a great experience! It’s fantastic to see a local actors bring some of Denver’s history into our lives. It also felt great to support a local and important theater company! We will be back!!

Emancipation Theater puts on an incredible production EVERY time. Just saw In The Pocket: The Ballad of Bobby Trombone and this play invoked all of the nostalgia as a Denver-raised chicana. BRAVO!!
