Gates Crescent Park is a nice place to enjoy nature and exercise. The park is clean and has a beautiful view of the creek. You can access the South Platte River trail from the park and go for a bike or hike. It is a peaceful and relaxing spot in Denver.

Starting children's musem nice playground for the kids... Walking to the railroad.. Following the river ... End to Starbucks.. Nice day

Great place to sit do some fun things! There is plenty of space to think and breath and eat lunch. I enjoy coming here to watch geese and see the people having fun on the rides at Elitch’s. There is not a good view of the White Bronco at mile high nor can you see the capital building from here either, but that’s not a deal killer. There was a guy in a van with three scary loot dogs here and I was a little nervous to leave my car, but he left eventually and everything was fine. There is nowhere to buy bottled water or chips nearby, so that’s a downside.
