We had a good time here to spend the day. Liked the history, the sections of exhibits they have on all their 4 floors, good sensitive areas for all ages, and just a great museum overall. Glad I came here and learned a few things about Denver. Great staff, gift shop, and Café as well. Worth the trip and time spent here to come and learn more about the city.

My twins Denver Slavens elementary school came on a field trip here. I had the opportunity to be a chaperone and enjoy the amazing tour guide and historical journey and experience. It was so educational, fun, hands on, visual and interactive. Highly suggest!

We loved coming here on our visit to Colorado, and enjoyed the variety of displays that are perfect for all ages. Whilst some of the information is heavier and more difficult to read, there is still plenty to see and do, no matter what you are interested in. Make sure to leave enough time - I'd suggest 3 hours if you are someone who likes to read all of the information in detail. We were especially interested in the Sand Creek Massacre exhibition on the top floor, and particularly enjoyed the ski jump simulator and the slide and school on the bottom floor. A must-see whilst in Colorado!

In my opinion, the best history museum in the Denver metro area. Beyond the exhibits I took pictures of (which mainly concern the Hispanic heritage of Colorado) they had a ton of other stuff that really piqued my interest and made me learn more about Colorado's history. Well worth a weekend visit if you have the time to.
