About

Quality Hill Park in Denver offers a serene urban escape with its lush greenery and well-maintained pathways, located at 975 Pennsylvania St in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Visitor Information

Quality Hill Park, with an average rating of 4.2 stars from 59 reviews, is a small urban park that served as a much-needed dog-friendly space in its neighborhood, but it has been closed, prompting some disappointment among locals. Despite its basic amenities, like shade and seating, visitors appreciated the park's convenience and the opportunity it offered for dogs to socialize; however, a lack of water resources was a common concern. The community hopes for a permanent and well-equipped dog park in the area, suggesting Sunken Gardens as a more suitable location.

Small fenced off area. No restrooms or water. There are several bowls if you bring your own. There is a picnic table and several places to sit, with shade. This was never intended to be a dog park. It was converted after an encampment was moved out.

This park is life changing. So many happy dogs get to play and run and be social! So many happy owners get to bring home tired dogs! It's such a gift to bring my pup somewhere she can run freely without having to get in the car and make the roads even more crowded. There's some good shade and the tables/benches/seats/trees facilitate mentally-stimulating play. Really hoping this place becomes a permanent feature of the neighborhood.

Small and basic park, was pleasantly surprised to find there was one in this neighborhood at all tho! It's just a basic urban dog park with dirt surfaces, nothing special really, but it gets the job done. There was a decent amount of seating and even water in the water bowl when we got there (which seems to be unusual in most dog parks =)

Nice park. I love that there is plenty of shade. It's only 2 blocks from home, so we can visit often. The only problem was lack of water. There were empty water jugs and empty water bowls sitting in the park, but no place to refill them, so I recommend bringing water. I hope if they make this a permanent dog park they will install a water fountain or faucet. I ended up sharing my dogs' water with lots of thirsty dogs. Update: This dog park has now been closed. The city is trying a different location at 7th and Lincoln.
