Wonderful lady, more power to this lovely person who runs the business. She is always cordial and polite. I always have a pleasant experience shopping here. They have been running the show for more than 8 year. I've known them since they were across the street. Love supporting small family owned businesses.

The new location (caddy corner same intersection) is much nicer and cleaner, but new location is harder to get in and out of with traffic. The staff/owners are quite friendly...so I go here when I can, they are over priced as compared to others in the area.

So I shop here sometimes just because it's right next to my bus stop when I'm coming home from work but that doesn't mean I like this location. In fact, the liquor store on the corner of Quincy and Chambers is much better than Smoky Hill Liquor. The biggest issue I have with Smoky Hill is the fact that the staff don't properly label most of the alcohol. They have so much product just stuffed onto shelves and stacked on the floor that it's usually just a guessing game as to what the prices are. Normally I don't know what I'm going to be paying until the liquor has already been rung up.

I have been a customer of this place for over a year now. I love it they are very friendly, helpful, & funny. They're always right there with a hello, how are you, & thank you for you business. I recently moved and this store isn't close, but I'll go out of my way to make my purchases there. Thanks for being so kind.
