Reviews

Snowbasin is an incredible ski resort that offers something for everyone. The variety of trails is outstanding, from wide-open cruisers to long, challenging runs that will test even the most advanced skiers. The mountain is well-maintained, and the terrain is thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to explore. If you’re up for a challenge, the longer runs will leave your legs burning in the best way possible. However, one tip: try to avoid the Porcupine lift if you can. It’s an older, slower lift that doesn’t quite match the efficiency of the rest of the resort. That said, it’s easy to plan your day around the newer, faster lifts, which keep you skiing instead of waiting. Overall, Snowbasin delivers a fantastic mountain experience with plenty of variety and excitement. Just a little lift strategy, and you’re set for an unforgettable day!

I went there for the first time yesterday for the Oktoberfest. Was just great! The resort is so pretty and well taken cared of, which means whoever is in charge really cares about it! Worth to take the gondola and the views are breathtaking! Just absolutely beautiful! The staff is pretty awesome and polite, they make you feel welcomed! Totally Different from the resorts in Park City. Also they are dog friendly! Took my dog and our little family had a bless! Must go for sure! Can’t wait to shred the slopes! Thank you! Was just great! P.S: please add more food vendors. 😊 And please do not charge $5 for a soda refill! That costa less than 0.01 for you guys! That was bad!

4.7 stars. I ski mostly throughout the intermountain west and Snowbasin always delivers. Runs have good variety and are well-maintained. Lifties and hosts are friendly and helpful. The lodges are world class and the food hits the spot. Though the food options are much more limited than at Deer Valley, the lodges are nicer. The restrooms are first class too. All around great resort. Especially great for families. Snowbasin does not offer the same abundance of steep chute terrain as does Snowbird, but there are some gems if you know where to look.

It's always wonderful to ski here. The staff are top-notch and the terrain is always fun to ski. When there's plenty of snow, this place is amazing. Can't wait for more snow to come in January/February.

Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, Utah, is an absolute gem! Riding the Olympic-themed gondolas to the top was an unforgettable experience. As we ascended, the views were nothing short of spectacular, and once we exited at the Needles Lodge, the adventure truly began. With hiking, mountain biking, and dining at the lodge all within reach, we opted for a hike to the top of the Wasatch Mountains. This is an amazing way to experience the beauty of Utah. The hike was breathtaking, literally and figuratively! We crossed patches of snow that hadn’t melted, and in the middle of July, we found ourselves making mini snowmen and throwing snowballs – a unique experience in the summer heat. The 360-degree panoramic views from the top were simply stunning. We were treated to a mesmerizing view of Ogden, Layton, the Ogden Valley, Pineview Reservoir, the Great Salt Lake, and even Antelope Island in the distance. This is a must-do experience for anyone visiting the area. The memories made at Snowbasin will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!
