I have visited the establishment on several occasions and have generally had a positive experience. The bartenders could benefit from additional training in interpersonal communication, but overall, I highly recommend the establishment to my friends. The line dancing is particularly enjoyable, although I believe it could be more inclusive for individuals interested in learning the dance. These are minor concerns in the grand scheme of things.

This is a fantastic venue. We come on Wednesday nights for FREE country swing dance lessons. Our first visit was a girls birthday night out … and although I was a teensy bit concerned it would be a meat market , it absolutely was not. Guest ages ranged from 21-80+, with everyone focused on the dance steps. Come solo, and they will match you with a dance partner cone with a partner, that’s great too. Wednesday 7-8pm is free country swing lessons, with live music at 8. Huge bar, and food available. Plenty of parking (free). Highly recommended. This couple just had their first dance lesson (posted with their permission).

My brother and I came to The Grizzly Rose for shows on both Friday & Saturday night. The music was fantastic, but that's not what stood out to me. It was the service. You see, my brother loves music, especially country. He also happens to have Down syndrome. Every single worker, from the front door bouncer to the ticket booth staff to stage security and bartenders, were simply amazing. They gave him a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you, Grizzly Rose staff for being top notch in every possible way and making these Philly visitors so very happy. And thanks for bringing in great live music!
