Reviews

What The Pho in Denver, Colorado, is an absolute gem that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re a seasoned pho enthusiast or a newcomer to Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant caters to all with its impeccable flavors and friendly service. The Food The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes that highlight the authentic flavors of the cuisine. Among the standout items are the Bánh Mì Sandwich and the Appetizer Sampler, both of which left a lasting impression. The Bánh Mì Sandwich is a masterpiece. The bread is perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, just as a bánh mì should be. It’s generously filled with your choice of protein (I went with the grilled pork, which was tender and flavorful), pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, and a slathering of creamy mayo. The balance of flavors and textures is spot on – the sweetness of the pork, the tangy crunch of the pickled veggies, and the freshness of the herbs come together beautifully. It’s a perfect example of how a simple sandwich can be elevated to a work of art. The Appetizer Sampler is another must-try. It’s a great way to get a little taste of everything, especially if you’re dining with a group or just want to explore the menu. The sampler includes a variety of items like crispy spring rolls, delicate shrimp dumplings, and tender chicken skewers, each cooked to perfection. The dipping sauces provided – from tangy peanut sauce to sweet chili – complement the appetizers beautifully, enhancing the flavors without overpowering them. The Pho Of course, no visit to What The Pho would be complete without trying their namesake dish. The broth is rich and aromatic, simmered for hours to extract deep, savory flavors. Paired with fresh herbs, lime, and tender slices of beef or chicken, it’s comfort food at its finest. Service and Ambiance The staff at What The Pho are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. They’re more than happy to make recommendations or accommodate dietary preferences. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and cozy, with tasteful décor that reflects the cultural roots of the cuisine. Overall Experience What The Pho goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the outstanding service make it a standout spot in Denver’s dining scene. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch, a casual dinner, or a celebration with friends, this place will not disappoint. I highly recommend What The Pho to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Denver. Be sure to try the Bánh Mì Sandwich and the Appetizer Sampler – you’ll thank me later!

Visiting out of town and wanted to eat somewhere close by. Staff at the front desk recommend What the Pho so decided to give it a try. It was a short walk away. It was about 5:30pm and it was not very busy. I must have gotten there at a good time because halfway through my meal the place became packed. The food was delicious. I ordered the Combination Bowl that came with shrimp, beef, and chicken. Everything was well seasoned! The egg roll was amazing! Highly recommend the bowls and egg rolls
